Just a quickie ...(oo er missis)

to anyone waiting for parcels from me- I am struggling with health issues at the moment, but better than I was. (I don't want to turn into a pity me woe woe woe one woman pity party, truly I don't).
I will be able to get to the post office Monday at the latest, possibly tomorrow but I am scared of Leeds city centre on a Saturday!!

I think it affects about 4 people who are waiting for different items, and I am really sorry for the delay.

Thanks folks, normal service will be resumed asap!

It's called "karma." And payback is a bitch.

The comment above is just pure evil and having followed you on both ravelry and here, I can say quite undeserved. Who ever it is (and I think I can guess) obviously leads a sad little life with nothing better to do! Sulky, I've never commented on your blog but felt I had to do so now, I wish you all the best and hope that you get better soon, take care

That first comment is appalling! I came here to say that I hope you feelbetter soon and that you don't push yourself too much - to then see a comment like that is - well, I can't find words for someone that nasty. If that person actually does believe in karma, they had better watch out for what will be coming their way. Take care.

well, the first comment is about as cowardly as it gets - the comment itself doesnt bother me at all - although if it is my karma to possibly have a form of cancer that has an exceptionally low cure rate then by hell i must have done some bad things in a former life!

but how cowardly to post it anonymously - come on, reveal yourself, i can think of two people who are pathetic enough to post it but i wont be wasting any time wondering

i dont and wont censor posts - unlike some - but come on, have the guts to post it under your own name

sad, sad coward

by hell, your karmic payback is going to be the mother of all bitches isnt it - i hope you are prepared

random thought just made me grin - those with the biggest axe to grind are the jo and annie gang and their associated acolytes - and by hell, you didnt exactly just do yourselves any favours did you ;-)

but bless you for trying, better luck next time

now maybe go and do something constructive, such as drinking cider or filing for bankruptcy? bunny wabbit spotting? spas?

Well, that first comment just takes my breath away.

How anyone can think there is such a thing as being "deserving" of ill-health boggles the mind.

Sending you some very nice, high thread-count freshly pressed virtual linens Miss Sulky.

Sulky - have you read the latest on the Rav refunds thread? Closing down sale is announced. Karma indeed.
I'll wish you a better day for tomorrow.

And now Lucy N 's blog about Knit Camp is also not leaving a good taste in her mouth. Stiffed again. Do hope the Anony- mouse lives long enuff to eat her words.

fanofsulkysblog is the funniest anonymous name ever, thank you for the grin!

lucy neatbys blog says it all - worth reading for anyone who still harbours under the misconception that i made it all up ....

the legal ramifications of setting up a 'new' company and taking peoples money when you are still under a bankruptcy order from your last endeavour will be interesting to watch unfold

WTF at the first comment.
Pay that sad, sick person no mind dear Sulky.

I really hope for the best test results for you. I can't say how much.

My jaw dropped at the first comment. How sad that someone has enough hate in them to take the energy to post that.

Sulky, if their karma comes in the form of a massively bad international reputation, then they are indeed already enjoying that.

Take care, and all the best with your health issues.

Iron on!

ridiculous comment. You have been brilliant throughout this whole debarcle, ignore the beeatchs they seriously don't have anything better to do. We know who they are and we know the truth! love to you and hope you are feeling better soon xx

i LOVE it that my ironing and bedding love has been recognised
;-)

sod any written worth, any critique, any photography, any humour, any travelogue - its the ironing and bedding that will be remembered

sulkycat -

If you want, you can put a blog stats counter on your website. I've used http://statcounter.com/ and it is very easy to install on Blogger.

Then all the little anony-mice will have their IP addresses registered. You can tell where in the world the anony-mice posted from, too.

Good luck with your current infestation of anony-mice - but cats usually win any battles with rodents!

What a nasty comment, and obviously not from someone who really belives in karma or else they wouldn't have said it. And as for payback, payback for what? For expressing your opinion? How stupid. Your blog is always well expressed, interesting and even handed. Ignore the stupid cowards with too much time on their hands (lack of work perhaps?!)

oh ffs ms anonymous get a ruddy life

perhaps the truth that sulky speaks hit a raw nerve eh

karma indeed will bite you

Tee hee you will just have to guess who I am on Rav! Your blog has been bookmarked! Didn't want to be associated with anony-mouse (that is a clue!)

I too believe in karma. That's why no matter how crap certain things are in her life, SulkyCat is rolling around in lots of pink and black fluffy stuff surrounded by friends IRL and online who are hoping/praying (depending on their atheistic or religious beliefs) for a good outcome while other people who are reportedly ill miss out on that circle of love.

AlisonK said...

Feel better soon Sulky. Sorry you have to deal with cowardly bitches on top of everything else, but you know all the sane people love you.

*is gobsmacked*

Karma goes both ways.

Spinningfishwife said...

Oh, ignore the miserable cow. Anyone that's too spineless to bitch under their own name isn't worth listening to anyway.

I hope you have a restful and pain free weekend, and that you feel better soon.

Ironing and bedding love? My mind is boggling at what you mean by 'bedding love' LOL

Hugs to you and boo-hish to meanies

Liz said...

Wow. I wonder who stamped on Anonymous's sparkly kitten.

Hope you find out what's wrong quickly, and that it's something easily fixed...

Perhaps it's nothing to do with KCSC. Pink iron jealousy is a terrible thing.

OMG!!! What a horrid cowardly thing to do, regardless of whatever the situation may be. Stunned by this.

Hope your anonynimity helps you sleep at night despite knowing wat a vile and base person you are.

Hope you feel much better soon Sulky.

Shirley said...

Gosh Anonymous, I wonder who you could be?

Very classy. No, really.

Sulky, new readers finding your blog has been one of the few good things to come out of this entire fiasco. I'm wishing you all the best & I hope that you feel better soon.

Take care of yourself m'love.

sulkycat said...

thank you for all the kind words and good wishes, you are a good bunch (especially for meanies)

Unknown said...

Hope you're feeling better soon sulky (another fan of your forthright blog, not to mention your photos of bees, smiley toast and Scarborough [where I was born]!) - treat the first comment with the contempt it deserves.

Lucy Neatby's blog post is enough to leave anyone aghast about the whole kc situation...good grief! :(

Another participant is also having a say. http://catranchknits.wordpress.com/

I am stunned at the attitude of that certain "famous" knitter. Why is it so hard to acknowledge that maybe you are not perfect? That she is still being ferried around the world means that someone likes her. I've read her blog for a long time and remember the time she really attacked a yarn store owner. That was not pretty.

Hope your health improves Sulky. I do wish there was such a thing as Karma, because there are a lot of nasty people in the world who deserve to receive some of what they dish out. You are not one of them.
