The Mardy Moggy Returns.

Hang on to your hats ...

Apologies to anyone who still reads this for the absence - I am sort of back now!

Very briefly:

craptastic! Thankfully I am now in  the loop at the excellent ME hospital here in Leeds so things might start to pick up - or at the very least I might become more accepting and understanding of this illness. Although I have been diagnosed for 3 years this is by far the worst I have been and it doesn't show any sign of easing yet.
Tis also pain city - wrists, thumbs, fingers, ankles, knees (ooooh poor little chubby knees!), the lot! I am now walking with a stick (a very pretty black one with pink fleurs) and rattling with various painkillers. It was  abit of a shock last night to realise I need to use both hands to use a potato masher ...

But it will pass I am sure.

skint! Nuff said.

Up and down. Some days my sense of humour stays in bed when I get up, but most of the time tis OK.

There, that's a fairly decent summary!

This helps - we have had fabulous Spring weather lately and finally things are happening in The TeenyTiny Garden.

There's also this (which after much discussion and hunting on tinternet we think is a peony) :

and , finally, some of this:

You want the gossip?
You mean you only come here for the gossip and not pretty flowers??

Oh go on then.

A little birdy tells me that SCKC continues to rear its ugly head. The Disorganiser has reappeared - on Ravelry - and by hell it hasn't gone down well.
I think it deserves a post of it's own, so will work on that and add it today or tomorrow.

Toodles for now.

Welcome back! I'm only a new follower but have been looking forward to a post, having read lots of the back catalogue!
Hoping that the spring flowers continue to show new prettiness, and that you are feeling much more comfortable and stronger very soon.

I hope the warmer weather helps with your pain, it does for me, but my pain is inflammation based in the soft tissue, I don't know enough about yours to know if heat makes a difference.

I'm glad you are beginning to come to terms that you have a life altering condition. It is so tough to do, I'm still working on it, 10 years down the line.

Thank the universe for the internet!

Glad to see you back. Sorry you are suffering - I hope the docs at the special hospital can get you sorted out pronto.

Sulky come and sulky some more with your witty comments and wry look on the world. I hope the warmer weather is making you feel better as craftycripple and myself are finding.

Snitcamp front - sorry I am still frothing at the mouth for the non-apology it was worse than the petulance I get from my teenage children.

I'd be interested to know how you get on at the ME hospital - I gave up on them a few years ago as they really didn't do anything to help me. Really hope that you have better luck with them (and if you do I may ask to be re-referred)

And I never use a potato masher - either instant mash (not as nice but easier on the wrists) or treat myself to ready made.

Lovely, that's what you all are, lovely.
Dawn I will certainly let you know how the ME hospital goes, I was very impressed with the initial session and they sent a very comprehensive 3 page report to my DR and myself.

Good to see you back, sorry the ME is not under control, spend time in that place myself and it really isn't pleasant! Good luck with the hospital/docs etc.
